Maine Coon Cat House 70cm | Two-Tier Wicker Bed – Wicker Maison

Can I take my cat's normal bed to a temporary stay?

Check with your cat’s carer before taking a familiar bed to a temporary stay, considering space, cleaning and easier-to-carry blankets.

It may be useful to take a familiar bed or compatible blanket if the destination can accommodate it and the item is clean, safe and practical to transport. Confirm the arrangements with the carer or accommodation provider before packing a large frame or cave. A smaller familiar washable layer may be easier to use than the entire bed, particularly where space or cleaning routines differ. Inspect the item after travel and ensure the new position provides easy access without blocking other resources. Do not assume the bed alone will make an unfamiliar environment comfortable; the cat's routine and care arrangements still matter. Keep product components together and avoid leaving loose hardware or packaging accessible. On returning home, clean the bedding as appropriate for the stay and its care instructions, then check that it is fully dry before replacing it in the usual resting area.

Label a removable blanket or cover discreetly where the cat cannot reach a loose tag. Give the carer its care instructions, especially if it looks machine-washable but requires a different cleaning method.
