Floor-to-Ceiling Cat Tree 240–280cm – Feline Sovereign Spire

How much space do I need to assemble a ceiling cat tree?

Plan working room for long ceiling-tree sections, platform assembly, doorway clearance and the installation sequence.

Assembly space can exceed the final footprint because long sections may need to be laid out, joined or raised into position. Read the sequence in the installation guide before deciding where to build.

Check the length of the largest component and whether the instructions require two people or access from a particular side. Clear nearby lamps, ornaments and furniture that could be struck while positioning the structure. The ceiling height alone does not tell you whether a partly assembled pole can be manoeuvred safely in the room. Avoid assembling a long item in a hallway and then discovering it cannot pass through the doorway. If the instructions do not make the required working space clear, ask the supplier. Plan a calm installation with the cat kept elsewhere until every fixing and platform has been checked.

Check whether the manual builds the pole upright in sections or joins a longer unit on the floor first. Those sequences need different working space; do not assume the smallest final footprint means the easiest assembly in a narrow room.
