A wall route above a doorway needs careful assessment of mounting support, headroom, access and what happens below. The presence of a door frame does not by itself establish that the intended fixings are suitable.
Follow the product requirements and obtain installation advice if the structure is unclear. Check the door's movement and whether a person carrying items could interfere with the route. Avoid a layout that encourages the cat to jump down into a frequently used passage. The cat also needs a comfortable way to reach and leave the section without a sudden gap or awkward turn. If those conditions cannot be met, route the furniture around a quieter part of the wall instead. A dramatic bridge over a doorway is not inherently more useful than a simpler, accessible arrangement elsewhere.
Consider the tallest object regularly carried through the doorway, such as a drying rack or storage box. Clearance that works for an empty-handed person may not work for ordinary household movement beneath the platforms.
