Floor-to-Ceiling Cat Tree 230–250cm – Modern Vine

How can I tell if my cat wall layout needs changing?

Observe hesitation, awkward turns, missed platforms and changed movement to decide whether a cat-wall layout needs reassessment.

Watch the way your cat uses the route rather than judging it only by how often it reaches the highest point. Repeated hesitation at one gap, awkward turns, slipping, jumping around a platform or avoiding a particular section can indicate a practical problem.

Check the installation and surfaces first, especially if behaviour changes suddenly. Also look for interruptions from people, doors or other animals. Do not move brackets casually while the cat is using the layout; plan any alteration according to the product instructions and wall requirements. If the cat appears uncomfortable or its mobility has changed, arrange veterinary advice instead of assuming the furniture is the sole cause. A useful layout supports relaxed, voluntary movement. It is reasonable to simplify or lower a route when that serves the cat better than preserving the original visual design.

Take a short video from a distance during ordinary use, without encouraging a difficult jump. Reviewing the same section from the side can reveal a crowded landing or an obstruction that is easy to miss while watching from the floor.
