Wooden Cat Tree 191cm | Tall Cat Tower – Linden Lookout

Should cat furniture match the sofa or the floor?

Choose cat-furniture colours that work with a sofa or flooring without narrowing the choice at the expense of comfort and usability.

There is no requirement for cat furniture to match either surface exactly. A useful approach is to choose one connection with the room, such as a similar wood tone to the floor or a cushion colour that relates to the sofa.

Matching every finish can be difficult and may narrow the choice unnecessarily. Consider contrast as well: a pale tree against a dark wall may look deliberate, while a dark frame can recede beside other dark furniture. Check that the design remains easy to see while moving around the room, particularly near a walkway. Function should still lead the selection. Once the suitable footprint, resting area and installation requirements are settled, colour becomes a manageable final decision. If samples are unavailable, expect some variation between online images, lighting conditions and the product in your home.

Choose the larger, more permanent surface as your starting point if you are unsure. For example, a tree may coordinate with the floor while a removable cushion relates to the sofa, allowing smaller accessories to change later.
