When shopping for several large cats, it is important to separate two questions: can the tower’s intended resting areas accommodate the cats using them, and does the tray suit each individual cat’s toileting needs? One answer cannot stand in for the other.
Read the tower rating by resting place
The bundle lists individual tower platforms at 10–15kg and a whole-tower load up to 50kg, distributed across platforms. For a cat over 10kg, ask about the particular platform it will use. The largest number is not a licence to put that weight on any single level.
Check usable condo, hammock and platform dimensions alongside the capacities. A permitted load does not tell you whether a resting surface has enough room for a particular cat or whether two cats choose to share it. The Taj-MeowHall’s 185cm height and number of features describe its layout, not a guaranteed household capacity.
Start the tray assessment again
The Gentleman’s Abode is an enclosed self-cleaning tray measuring 50 × 50 × 53cm externally, with a 20cm entrance. Check the interior, entry arrangement and exact operating criteria for every cat expected to use it. Do not carry the tower’s weight rating across to the machine.
An automatic cleaning function also does not decide how many toileting locations your household needs. Keep an appropriate wider litter arrangement and assess how the cats actually access it. One cat using the new tray comfortably is not evidence that every other cat can enter, turn and use it equally well.
Keep an individual checklist
Write each cat’s name beside its relevant measurements and preferred resources. For the tower, note the intended resting levels and any unresolved dimensions. For the tray, record the fit and operating checks separately. This can reveal a mismatch that disappears when the whole household is described only as “three large cats”.
Use the bundle to purchase products you have assessed, not to define the total resources the home will provide. Keep suitable alternatives available and observe whether access remains practical when cats use the room together. A clear distinction between structural capacity, physical fit and everyday sharing makes the buying decision more useful than any single impressive number.
