Flower Cat Tree 162cm | Multi-Level Tower – Floral Canopy

When should I stop using a damaged modern cat tree?

Recognise cat-tree damage that calls for stopping use, including loose platforms, exposed edges, failing attachments and loose filling.

Take the tree out of use when damage could affect support, access or the cat's contact with the surface. Examples include a moving platform, cracked structural component, exposed sharp edge, failing attachment or loose material that could be swallowed.

You do not need to wait for a dramatic failure before contacting the supplier. Keep the cat away while you identify the issue, and photograph the affected area with the model details available. Cosmetic marks can be different from structural damage, but that distinction may require manufacturer advice when the construction is concealed. Do not test a doubtful part by placing the cat on it. Reopen access only when the correct repair or replacement has been completed according to the relevant instructions and the rest of the structure has also been checked.

Do not assume blocking one bed makes the rest safe if that bed shares a damaged upright or base. Establish which components carry the loads before deciding whether any part can remain accessible during repair.
