Four size options are useful only when you can picture what each one changes. With a rectangular cat bed, moving up a size affects both the space it takes in your room and the resting area inside its sides. Those two measurements should remain separate throughout your comparison.
The Velvet Nest comes in four listed overall sizes: 50 × 45 × 15cm, 64 × 53 × 17cm, 76 × 61 × 18cm and 90 × 68 × 21cm. All have raised sides, so the first two numbers are not an internal sleeping-space measurement.
Start with the available floor area
Use paper to mark the width and length of the options that could fit your chosen location. Check the outline with doors open and nearby chairs in use. Include room for your cat to approach the bed, and enough space for you to lift it out for cleaning.
Avoid selecting the largest bed simply because it fits between two pieces of furniture. If the entry is hemmed in or the bed blocks a usual route, a different position may be more useful. Large cat furniture needs a workable setting as well as generous dimensions.

Add your cat's resting shape
Watch your cat during several relaxed rests. A curled-up outline can be much smaller than the same cat lying on their side. Note the space they use most often and any position that needs extra length.

Also consider entry height. The overall height does not establish the exact step into the bed, so ask if access is an important part of your choice.
Compare the final arrangement, not the size label
