A sloping ceiling changes the space above every part of a cat tower. The highest point in the room cannot tell you whether a platform will fit nearer the eaves. Start with a side view of the available space, then consider how your cat would use each level within it.
Draw the slope from the side
Sketch the floor, low wall and angled ceiling. Mark the point where the slope begins and record the height above the proposed front and back edges of the furniture. Include skirting boards, beams and any roof-window handles. You do not need a polished architectural drawing for an initial enquiry, but each measurement should have a clear start and end point. Label estimates so they are not mistaken for confirmed dimensions.
Measure usable space above the platforms
A tower can fit physically while leaving a resting platform cramped against the ceiling. Ask for the heights and positions of its platforms, then consider the cat sitting, turning and stepping between them. Do not use the top of the furniture as the only reference. For a bespoke design, explain which side faces the lower ceiling so the proposed arrangement can be reviewed in the correct orientation.
Do not improvise a ceiling contact
A floor-to-ceiling tower depends on the installation conditions specified for that model. Do not assume its upper fitting can sit against a slope, a beam edge or a fragile ceiling finish. An improvised wedge is not a substitute for confirmation. If the instructions do not permit the intended surface and angle, consider another format. Keep windows and the room route usable
Check the roof window through its normal opening movement and keep blind cords inaccessible. Consider whether the furniture would provide access to an unsecured window. Leave a clear route for people and the cat, particularly where head height falls sharply. A low space that is awkward for a person to reach can also become difficult to inspect or clean.
Prepare the bespoke conversation
Send a wide photograph, the side-view sketch and measurements of the proposed footprint. Explain the activities you want the piece to offer.
