Before comparing the totals, put the proposed dimensions, finishes, included accessories and delivery arrangements side by side. A clear comparison should tell you what each price buys and what still needs agreement.
Start with the same brief
Keep one dated version of your requirements and use it for every comparison. Include the room limits, the activities you want the piece to support and any important access constraints. If one proposal changes the footprint or removes a platform, record that difference. Otherwise, a lower total may simply reflect a smaller or differently equipped piece.
Check the specification line by line
Look for overall dimensions and the measurements of the parts your cat will use. Ask which materials and finishes apply to each area, and whether pads, toys or other pictured accessories are included. Separate delivery from assembly
Check the destination covered by the quote, the delivery method and what happens when the item arrives. Carrying a piece upstairs, placing it in a room and assembling it are separate activities. Write down unresolved items
Use three labels: confirmed, optional and unanswered. An unanswered finish choice should not quietly become the default. Ask how a later change would affect price and timing, and when the design is considered agreed. You can then review one final version instead of reconstructing the project from a long message thread.
Compare timing on the same basis
Distinguish an indicative timeframe from an agreed arrangement for your order. Ask what starts the production period and how delivery timing is confirmed. Keep the final record
Before accepting, retain the quote, specification, reference images and relevant terms together. Confirm the full price, tax treatment, delivery arrangements and any installation responsibilities that remain yours.
