The Gentleman's Abode is currently listed at 50 × 50 × 53cm, but the specification does not label those figures as width, depth and height. Do not assume that 53cm is the height simply because it is the final number. Ask for a labelled diagram or written dimension order for the current model.

Why the order needs a label
Retailers and manufacturers do not always write three dimensions in the same sequence. A globe can also have a different widest point from its floor contact area. The three overall numbers tell you the general exterior scale, but they do not identify which direction each one describes.
Ask for three exterior endpoints
Request the widest left-to-right measurement, the deepest front-to-back measurement and the height from the supporting floor to the highest fixed point. Ask whether the door, controls, cable connection or another projecting part is included. If a dimension changes while a door or service part moves, request both the closed and operating clearance.
Do not confuse exterior and usable space
The listed figures are overall dimensions. They do not establish the usable litter area, the internal turning space or the room occupied by the mechanism. Ask for clear interior width, depth and height at the narrowest relevant points. Weight or a “large cat” product description cannot replace those measurements.
Keep the 20cm entry separate
The listing also states a 20cm entry opening, but it does not define the opening shape, narrowest clear point or height above the floor. Confirm those details separately. A 50cm exterior direction should never be substituted for the route the cat actually passes through.
Add maintenance and operating clearance
A self-cleaning unit needs space for setup, waste removal and the manual tasks stated in its instructions. Ask which sides must remain accessible and whether a wall, alcove or cabinet could interfere. Record that clearance outside the product dimensions so the number is not mistaken for part of the machine.
Confirm operating requirements too
The current listing tells buyers to confirm the manufacturer's age, weight and litter requirements. These operating conditions are separate from physical fit. A cat may be within a permitted weight range while the entry or interior is unsuitable, or the room may fit the exterior while lacking service access.
