Confirm whether the two holes match
A photograph may make the openings appear identical, but perspective is not a measurement. Ask whether both clear diameters are the same and whether trim, toys or the central panel reduce access from either side.
Treat the holes as play features
Use them for the observation and paw-based play described by the product. Do not encourage a cat to squeeze its body or head through an opening unless the instructions explicitly identify that use. Never force the cat towards or into a hole to test fit.
Allow hand and toy clearance
Keep enough space on both sides for the cat to approach, watch and withdraw freely. If a person will move a toy on the opposite side, make sure hands remain clear of excited paws. Put unrelated strings or small loose objects away after the supervised session.
Inspect the finished edges
Follow the care instructions and check the inner edges, frame and nearby pom-pom attachments for damage. Stop using the play board if an edge becomes rough, a part loosens or the structure no longer sits as intended.
