Adding a tent beside a cat tower can create more choice, but it can also concentrate every approach into one small area. With the Tower & Den Bundle, look at the Cream Estate’s access route and the Koda Pod’s entrance together. This matters particularly when more than one cat uses the room and both items are placed near a corner.
Draw the approaches before the outlines
Identify how a cat reaches the Cream Estate’s entry ramp and how it would approach the Koda Pod. Now consider another cat resting nearby. Does one animal occupying a narrow patch of floor make both products difficult to reach? If so, the furniture offers more resting spots without necessarily offering more independent access.
Move the proposed tent position on the plan and reassess the route. You do not need to invent a universal distance between products. The room’s shape, sight lines and available exits matter. A modest change in orientation or location can be more useful than measuring a large gap that still leads through the same doorway.
Do not count every space as shareable
The Cream Estate has two enclosed condos and several levels, while the Koda Pod is a separate open-front tent. Those descriptions do not establish that a particular number of cats will comfortably share the whole arrangement. Check each cat’s size, the usable spaces and how the animals actually use the room.
The tower’s total distributed load rating is not a social-sharing recommendation. Its individual platform ratings also need checking, especially for a cat over 10kg. Keep suitable resources elsewhere rather than treating the bundle as proof that every cat’s resting or scratching needs are covered by one grouped display.
Observe without directing traffic
Once everything is correctly assembled and positioned, allow voluntary exploration. Notice whether an entrance remains unused because another cat regularly sits on the approach. Avoid repeatedly placing a reluctant cat inside the tent or up the tower; that does not solve a layout that offers an awkward way in or out.
Keep adjustments focused. Repositioning the tent is usually a simpler layout change than moving an installed tower, but assess the new location properly too. The strongest reason to pair a tower with a separate den is the possibility of another useful choice. Preserve that advantage by ensuring the extra entrance is actually accessible in ordinary daily use.
