Not every AeroMat size will fit inside every Velvet Nest. The published measurements let you rule out several combinations, but they do not confirm any remaining combination: the bed dimensions include its raised sides, not just the flat sleeping area.
Start with what the two listings actually measure
The AeroMat is listed at 40 × 50cm (M), 50 × 70cm (L) and 70 × 100cm (XL). The Velvet Nest has four overall sizes: 50 × 45 × 15cm, 64 × 53 × 17cm, 76 × 61 × 18cm and 90 × 68 × 21cm. The third bed measurement is height; it does not add lining space.
The table below is an outer-dimension screen for an unfolded mat lying flat, with its edges parallel to the bed's sides. Turning the mat through a quarter-turn is allowed in this comparison. Folding, bunching and diagonal placement are not assumed.

Ask about the flat interior, including the corners
Send Giant Paws the exact bed and mat options and ask for the bed's usable flat length and width. Also ask whether shaped corners or inward-sloping bolsters reduce that rectangle. An internal measurement taken across the top of the sides may describe a different space from the floor where the mat would rest.
For an existing bed, measure it in its normal assembled shape without pulling the sides apart. Compare both mat edges with that flat area. Do not buy a larger mat on the assumption that it can be trimmed or tucked under the filling.
Check the finished arrangement separately
Even a dimensionally suitable mat should lie as intended without covering the entry or making the resting surface bunch up. Its waterproof backing does not make the whole bed waterproof. Follow both care labels and check the surface beneath after a spill.
