Bespoke Cat Furniture Drawings: Control the Approved Version

A complete cat tower used as a product reference when reviewing layouts and dimensions.

Approve one identifiable drawing revision, not a mixture of preferred details from several images. Each updated bespoke cat furniture drawing should carry a revision name or number and date, with a short written list of what changed.

Keep the full drawing set together

A plan view, front view and side view may describe the same proposal. Label them with the same revision identifier so an older side view is not accidentally read alongside a newer plan. Keep units and measurement endpoints visible.

Write the change in practical terms

Instead of “make the top bigger”, record the approved platform width and depth, its position, edge treatment and any effect on the full footprint. If an entrance moves, update both its dimensions and the route leading to it.

Mark what did not change

A concise change list can say: “Revision C: upper platform increased to …; overall height unchanged; finish unchanged.” This reduces the risk that every previous choice is treated as open again. If a feature has not yet been decided, label it unresolved rather than filling the drawing with an assumption.

Resolve conflicts before approval

If the picture, dimension table and written quote disagree, pause the approval and ask for one corrected record. Do not choose whichever value is most favourable. Our bespoke drawing review guide covers the spatial checks; version control keeps those checks attached to the right proposal.

Save the final approval trail

Keep the approved revision, written change list, quote and confirmation together. Later change requests should name the current revision and produce another identifiable update. Do not edit the approved image locally and treat that as a supplier-confirmed change.

A ready-to-order product such as The Ultimate PawHouse has a fixed current listing; it is used here only as a product image. Bespoke specifications and final details belong in the individual Giant Paws quote and approval record.
