Do not add wheels, a furniture dolly or a riser beneath a cat tree unless the manufacturer approves that arrangement for the exact model. A tower designed to stand on the floor has not automatically been approved for a different base, even if the wheels lock or the riser appears solid.
Identify the problem you are trying to solve
There are several different reasons for wanting a raised or movable base: reaching hair underneath, protecting a floor, moving the tower during cleaning or gaining a little more height. Write down the specific task before choosing a modification. Each problem may have a solution that leaves the original support arrangement intact.
For example, if the vacuum cannot reach one side, a more accessible permitted location might solve the problem. If the floor needs protection, ask about compatible protection for that floor finish and the tower's original base. Raising the whole structure is not the same as protecting its contact points.
A wheel rating does not rate the complete tower
A stated load capacity on a castor or trolley is not evidence that a cat tree attached to it is suitable for climbing. Nor does a brake confirm compatibility with the tower's joints, base or anchoring arrangement. Do not add separate wheel ratings together and treat the result as an approved cat-furniture capacity.
The Ultimate PawHouse is listed as 216cm tall, with a 60 × 50cm base and projecting resting areas. Those dimensions describe the listed product, not a version placed on a platform or fitted with wheels. Its assembly and anchoring requirements still need to be followed.
Ask a compatibility question with a clear answer
If mobility is essential, send the supplier the exact tower model and explain how often it would need moving, over which floor surface and for what purpose. Ask whether there is an approved mobile configuration, and request its installation and use instructions. Do not assume Giant Paws supplies such a version unless it is specifically confirmed.
For a ceiling-tension tower, changes under the base also change the floor-to-ceiling installation. Do not use a riser to bring a room outside the listed adjustment range within apparent reach. Choose furniture whose documented installation suits the room as it is.
Plan cleaning without an improvised moving platform
Keep the accessible perimeter clear and use cleaning equipment permitted for the furniture and floor. If the tower has to move, keep the cat elsewhere and follow the supplied handling, dismantling and reinstallation instructions. Do not roll a tower while a cat is on it or treat temporary moving equipment as a permanent support.
