A bespoke brief can become clearer as you compare the design with your room. If you want to change a detail during the enquiry, make the request explicit and ask for the revised specification. A message expressing a preference is not the same as an agreed change to the order.
Refer to one version of the design
Identify the drawing, quote or reference you are discussing by its date or label. Describe the current detail and the change you want. For example, say that you would like to discuss the position of an enclosed resting area, rather than sending a second image with no explanation. Keep the original reference available so the difference is clear.
Ask what else the change affects
A change to one platform can affect the route through the furniture, the footprint or cleaning access. Ask about those consequences instead of treating every detail as independent. Confirm feasibility, materials and any change to the total or timing before deciding. Do not assume every requested alteration can be made.
Keep a short change list
Use three columns in your notes: requested change, response and agreed version. Mark unresolved items as questions. This avoids a later message being mistaken for approval of an earlier proposal. Keep aesthetic preferences separate from essential room or access constraints.
Check the revised whole piece
Review the complete specification after the amendment, not only the altered area. Recheck measurements, included accessories and delivery arrangements. The Giant Paws bespoke process is based on a personal quote; design examples such as the Castle Collection do not replace that agreement.
If you have already placed the order
Contact Giant Paws promptly with the specific request and ask what is possible at the current stage. Do not assume production can be changed, paused or cancelled merely because an enquiry has been sent. Obtain a clear response before relying on a revised arrangement.
