Should You Keep the Packaging After Cat Furniture Arrives?

Keep the packaging while you inspect the delivery and check the order details. It can help protect parts and identify what arrived if you need assistance. Store it somewhere your cat cannot reach loose plastic, ties or staples rather than leaving an opened parcel as an unsupervised play area.

Keep the information before clearing the room

Save the order confirmation, instructions and any component labels. Photograph the packaging labels if they may help identify a part, but keep address details out of public photographs. Put small fixings and spare supplied components in a labelled container away from pets and children.

Check before flattening the box

Make sure you have found every component and instruction sheet before disposing of inserts. Look inside folded cardboard sections where small packets may sit. If something appears missing, compare the contents with the exact parts list and contact Giant Paws rather than substituting an unrelated fixing.

Read the current return process

The Giant Paws refund policy describes its return-request process and condition requirements. Contact Giant Paws for the instructions relevant to your order before sending an item anywhere. Bespoke orders and other circumstances can differ; retaining packaging does not itself establish return eligibility.

Store or dispose of it deliberately

Keep retained packaging dry and out of the cat's normal routes. If you no longer need it, separate materials according to local recycling guidance. Remove address labels where appropriate. Do not keep damaged plastic wrapping, sharp fasteners or loose straps around simply because the cat likes the box.

Before choosing another piece from the ready-to-order collection, make sure the current delivery is checked and its care instructions are filed. A tidy order record makes later questions easier to answer.
