Sovereign Suite: Vertical Space Still Needs Clear Floor Routes

The Sovereign Suite — Floor-to-Ceiling Tower, Litter Tray & Luxury Bed

A floor-to-ceiling cat tower draws the eye upwards, which can make the surrounding floor seem less important. In the Sovereign Suite, the Feline Sovereign Spire sits alongside two separate products: a Velvet Nest bed and Gentleman’s Abode litter tray. The full arrangement still needs a careful floor plan, even when the tower’s main post appears compact.

Measure the structure beyond the post

The Feline Sovereign Spire has tiered resting platforms and a sisal-wrapped central post, with a 240–280cm adjustment range. Check the complete assembled width and depth, including platform projections, rather than sketching only the central support. Follow the installation instructions for its pressure-mounted design.

Think about how the cat reaches the intended levels and returns to the floor. A nearby bed or machine should not be used to improvise an access route. Check the actual arrangement and suitability instead of assuming that a vertical product automatically saves enough space for every other item in the suite.

Draw three separate approaches

Mark the route to the tower, the approach to the Velvet Nest and the entrance to the automatic tray. The bed’s raised sides and selected size affect how it occupies the floor. The tray’s 50 × 50 × 53cm exterior and 20cm entrance also require a separate assessment of usable space and access.

Now add normal household movement. Doors opening, people passing and chairs moving can change all three approaches. The goal is not to fill the largest possible proportion of the room with cat furniture. It is to provide suitable resources that remain reachable when the room is being used normally.

Leave room for the tasks above floor level

You need access to inspect the tower and carry out any checks required by its instructions. The bed should not prevent you reaching those areas, and the tray should not need moving for routine tower care. Equally, tray servicing must remain possible without disturbing the installed structure.

Review the plan before deciding the suite fits a smaller room. If the routes overlap awkwardly, consider separate appropriate locations for the tray or bed. A floor-to-ceiling tower may use height effectively, but the complete bundle works best when vertical features and floor-level routines have both been given enough practical space.
